We are beyond excited to introduce you to the newest member of the fast-growing TimeEdit community in the Netherlands. TU/e will implement the TE Suite in two phases, and go-live with scheduling and resource management in TE Core in the beginning of 2021.
University of Technology Eindhoven, TU/e, has chosen TimeEdit for their end-to-end scheduling needs, from preference collection (TE Preferences) to course and exam (TE Core & TE Exam) scheduling across all departments.
TU/e will go live with TE Core, TE Reserve and TE Viewer in spring 2021, and in phase two of the implementation, TU/e will embark on TE Preferences for collection of scheduling data as well as TE Exam for exam management.
Bert van Irsel, project manager at TU/e, expands on their recent acquisition:
“TU/e has formulated a strategy for 2030 with the title ‘Drivers of change’. With respect to scheduling, there are two important changes we need to support:
1) Our research-based education will transform from teaching to learning and there will be more and more challenge-based projects.
2) In times of rapid growth, it will be our priority to safeguard the quality of our education and research and guarantee our unique personal approach. To support these changes TU/e will need to improve its scheduling processes.
In our tender, we defined a strong scheduling core as a must-have requirement - and gathering preferences, detailed exam planning and the ability to execute different scenario’s as should-haves. TimeEdit’s flexible scheduling tools ticked all the boxes."
"We are excited to get started with the implementation process, and are certain that we will improve on our must-have’s as well as our should-have’s. TimeEdit’s overall completeness combined with a very user-friendly interface will save us a lot of time, but more importantly will enable us to reach our goals.” says Bert van Irsel, project manager at TU/e.
“We are super happy to have TU/e onboard the fast growing TimeEdit community in the Netherlands. It’s been a pleasure to get to know the ambitious and forward-thinking user group, and I am sure that we will continue to develop the resource management space together for many years to come”, says Johan Blomdahl, CEO of TimeEdit.
