The TE team continues to grow in Australia

May 25, 2022

TimeEdit strengthens the business development and implementation team in Australia through the recruitments of Rose Kirkpatrick and Richie Teh. Both Richie and Rose have vast experience from resource scheduling and planning from the higher education sector and bring invaluable competence to the table. We had a sit-down with the two to hear more about their first time in TimeEdit.

Welcome to the team! First question: what made you join TimeEdit?
Rose: Well that's easy. TimeEdit has a clear mission and I know the struggles that's out there. It's easy to see the value it will bring to a lot of people, and I find that really motivating.

Richie: I have been very impressed with what TimeEdit has achieved and the fantastic solutions it is offering Higher and Vocational education institutions. Hence when I was offered the opportunity to be part of the company, I took it immediately.

So tell us a bit about yourself
Rose: I have worked for over a decade now in the higher education sector, on both sides on the fence - both for universities and for a vendor selling into the sector. I have done pretty much it all, I have worked as a product manager, project manager, business consultant and scheduler during this time working with universities across Australia and New Zealand, South East Asia and Europe. I can't wait to start working with these universities again. What else ... I live in beautiful Queensland and love spending time with my family, gardening and swimming

Richie: I have been working in the ICT sector for more than 20 years, where I spent 12 years value adding to education institutions across ANZ and Asia. For those who know me well, they know that I am very passionate about my work and tvalues my relationship with my customers and partners.

When not working, I enjoy traveling, going out for meals with my wife, my 18 year-old son and my 14 year-old daughter - love them heaps. I am a fan of music, particularly jazz music, and also an avid collector of vinyl records.

What's your role at TimeEdit?
Rose: I will be an Implementation Manager at TimeEdit in Australia and am looking forward to helping to build a network of customers in the Pacific Region.

Richie: My role at TimeEdit is to help grow our customer base in ANZ as well as to develop a strong customers and partners community in the region.

You both ahve been here for a couple of weeks, what are your first impressions of TimeEdit?
Rose: My first impression is of a company that has excellent core values at its foundation, where everyone is working together to provide the customers with the best possible service.  I have been made feel very welcome and look forward to being a valued member of the team.

Richie: I've been impressed with the work culture at TimeEdit - it is one filled with energy, belonging and trust. It is a culture where senior leadership truly leads by example. I've never felt so welcomed and I look forward to value adding and contributing to this great company.

”The reception from the ANZ timetabling community is very heartwarming. It’s great to see such interest, enthusiasm and engagement from the community wanting to seek a smarter, different way of scheduling their classes and resources. This is what motivates us.”, says Richie.

Big thanks to Richie and Rose, and most importantly: a big big welcome to the team.
